Founded in 2006 by Marian Wigger, a designer with a background at the European fashion label Turnover, Zenggi is a Dutch brand centered on a “slow fashion” philosophy. The label creates womenswear with a timeless and refined simplicity, designing collections as an “evolution, not a revolution” to ensure pieces remain relevant for years. The core brand principle is “less, but better,” offering curated selections of versatile, easy-to-combine items rather than overwhelming collections. Production is based in European family businesses, with Wigger personally selecting all fabrics—often from innovative Italian and Japanese manufacturers—and overseeing the details of the craft-focused process. The brand’s aesthetic is elegant, comfortable, and understated, sometimes incorporating inspiration from traditional Japanese techniques. Zenggi also operates the sub-label TRVL DRSS, which specializes in wrinkle-free, high-comfort fabrics for women who travel.
