Founded in 2012 by Dimitra Kolotoura and Mareva Grabowski, Zeus+Dione emerged during Greece's financial crisis as a project to preserve and revitalize the country's rich artisanal traditions. Named after the parents of Aphrodite, the Athens-based brand translates Hellenic culture into luxury ready-to-wear, swimwear, and accessories. The design is defined by clean, geometric lines and a color palette drawn from the Aegean landscape, creating a look of timeless, minimalist elegance. Central to its identity is the use of locally sourced materials, most notably its signature 'spathoto' silk, which is woven exclusively for the brand in the historic silk town of Soufli. Each collection is a collaboration with specialized artisans across Greece, from embroiderers in Argos to weavers in Crete, transforming age-old techniques into contemporary fashion. This commitment to craftsmanship ensures that every piece carries a unique story of its origin.
