Conceived for slender wrists, the Little Lange 1 181.038 brings the mechanical and design features of the classic Lange 1 into a 36.8 mm White Gold case. A. Lange & Söhne gives this version a Light Grey dial made of gold and decorated with guilloché, matched by a light grey alligator strap for a tonal, monochrome look. The asymmetric layout dates to the first Lange 1, presented in Dresden in 1994.The guilloché Light Grey dial carries the off-center hours and minutes, the small seconds, Lange's outsize date and a power-reserve indicator, with White Gold hands and markers. The case is 9.5 mm high, and the hand-wound movement, shared with the larger Lange 1, is visible through the sapphire caseback. Like every Lange movement, it is assembled twice and given a three-quarter plate of German silver and a hand-engraved balance cock. A White Gold prong buckle closes the strap.
