The Akoni - Columba Scraped Series keeps the laidback SoCal surf spirit of the original Columba and adds a recent Japanese design breakthrough: starting from the finest Japanese acetate at maximum thickness, Akoni's artisans scrape back the surface by hand, leaving an organic linear pattern of tactile, deliberately imperfect markings that makes each frame one of a kind. Sized smaller than the original Columba, the series also forms part of Akoni's collaboration with Zeiss, one of the world's finest lens makers. Handmade in Japan. Includes Akoni box, case, cleaning cloth, and 1-year manufacturer warranty.
