The Akoni - Pyxis is named for the southern constellation honoring the mariner's compass, guide of explorers since the age of Greek myth—and the frame aims for new territory of its own. The substantial design builds on the masculine Wellington silhouette favored by postwar cinema's leading men, then charts its own course: eye-catching visible titanium cores float within laminated Japanese acetate temples, an engineering flourish positioned precisely where close inspection finds it. Handmade by Japanese master artisans. Handmade in Japan. Includes Akoni box, case, cleaning cloth, and 1-year manufacturer warranty.
