## Description

Partitas Nos. 1-6, BWV 825-830 were composed between 1726 and 1730 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) and published individually before being gathered together in 1731 as the first volume of his Clavier-vúbung, the only keyboard works Bach himself oversaw in publication as a collected set. These six suites represent the culmination of the Baroque keyboard partita tradition, each expanding the customary sequence of dance movements.
