## Summary

Sterling silver squash blossom naja necklace featuring red spiny oyster cabochons and oxidized silver detailing in a traditional Southwestern style.

## Description

Add a kick of chic to any look with this versatile, Southwest-inspired necklace from nickel-free .925 Sterling Silver. This gorgeous statement necklace features 6 oval cabochons of beautiful Red Spiny Oyster with a Naja design at the center and squash blossom stations throughout in between round 6mm silver beads. It measures 17 inches long, includes a 3 inch extender chain for versatility, and is secured with a lobster claw clasp. The center Naja measures 1.75 inches wide by 2 inches long. Spiny Oyster has been found in abundance in archaeological excavations of the Anasazi ruins, the Mogollon Rim and the Hohokam ruins of the desert southwest. The explorer Cortez brought this beautiful shell back to Spain. Colors found from light orange to deep red, with some shells actually producing a purple shade.
