Introducing the Dark Blue Abalone Crystal Dish by ANCIENT FUTURE. A blue abalone shell is set upon a quartz base, creating a compact raised form that brings the curved shell and crystal together within one object. The deeper blue appearance gives this version a stronger visual presence, while keeping the shape and surface of the shell at the center of the design. Crafted from natural shells, each piece is one of a kind. Variations in size, texture, color, and pattern, as well as subtle traces of nature and handcrafting, are part of its inherent beauty and individuality. The Dark Blue Abalone Crystal Dish continues ANCIENT FUTURE’s exploration of bringing shell and crystal into the home through objects that retain the individual character of their materials.
