Introducing the Light Blue Abalone Crystal Dish by ANCIENT FUTURE. Blue abalone is set upon a quartz base, bringing the organic form of the shell together with the solid presence of crystal. The open shell shape, layered surface, and light blue tones remain visible within the finished object, giving each piece its own distinct appearance. Crafted from natural shells, each piece is one of a kind. Variations in size, texture, color, and pattern, as well as subtle traces of nature and handcrafting, are part of its inherent beauty and individuality. The Light Blue Abalone Crystal Dish continues ANCIENT FUTURE’s exploration of natural materials through objects made for the home, while preserving the individual form and character of each shell.
