## Description

Description This shirt plays the Audi Dieselgate scandal, where Audi and Volkswagen cheated emissions tests with software, leading to major legal and financial fallout. Made from 100% cotton, this relaxed-fit black tee is a bold statement on corporate deception and its consequences. History The Audi Dieselgate scandal was the discovery in 2015 that Audi, along with its parent company Volkswagen (VW), had equipped diesel vehicles with software designed to cheat emissions tests. The software could detect when a car was being tested and temporarily reduce emissions to pass regulatory standards, while under normal driving conditions, the cars emitted nitrogen oxide pollutants far above legal limits. This led to major legal and financial consequences for the companies, including billions of dollars in fines and lawsuits, and a significant blow to their reputations.
