The Avocado Luxury Organic Mattress is a hybrid for sleepers who want a plush, cushioned surface over real coil support, and it comes in three feels. The Medium (13.25") has a tight top, while the Plush (14") adds an attached pillow-top with 2 inches of GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex. For the deepest sink, the Ultra Plush (15") adds an attached box-top with 3 inches of FSC®-certified Pure Talalay® latex. Every model is built from up to 17 layers of organic and natural latex, organic wool, natural alpaca, silk, hemp, and organic cotton over our patented seven-zone coil system, and the Plush and Ultra Plush add a 1-inch micro-coil layer for up to 2,590 coils in total. The wool doubles as a natural fire barrier, so we use no chemical flame retardants, and we needle-tuft the comfort layers by hand rather than glue them. Handcrafted in California with domestic and imported materials, the finished mattress, not just the materials inside it, holds six independent certifications: GOTS (CU863637), OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, MADE SAFE®, EWG Verified®, GREENGUARD Gold, and UL® Formaldehyde-Free.
