The Balmain - Focus I is a compact rectangular optical in full Japanese titanium, its shape taken from 1970s and ’80s optical codes. The build is clean and functional, which is where the lightness comes from, and the edges are left defined so the small frame still has an architectural presence. A dimensional PB logo block sits in the hinge end piece, engraving runs continuously through the metal, and the temples finish in acetate tips, a break from the titanium that also adds comfort behind the ear.
