The Maja Earrings reimagine the long earrings once worn by Goya’s majas. Each one is a sculptural brass hand worn at the ear, topped with a red agate bead. Below it, a dense fringe of fine sterling silver chain falls 15cm, moving like the tasseled trim worn in the 19th century. The part of the hand that touches the ear is entirely lined in sterling silver. Sold as a pair. Part of the FOLKLORE Collection, it highlights the hand motif, a recurring, signature element within the Beatriz Palacios universe.
