If the greatest naturalists and expedition leaders had not kept meticulous logs of their adventures, their stories would have never been told. Essential to the task is the Field Desk: keep your supplies organized and your writings secure, and have a ready surface that commands pen to paper. We designed the Best Made Field Desk with Gerstner case makers and legendary illustrator and artist Ross MacDonald to recall an implement worthy of Hemingway, London, or Service. Made with kiln-dried American cherry, plain-sawn to expose its handsome grain, the Best Made Field Desk is a stately home for all your stationery needs, and is finished with brass corner guards and the signature Best Made shoulder strap.
