This edtion of The Service Jacket is  constructed from a premium Japanese cotton Panama cloth — woven in a 2x2 basketweave structure where paired warp and weft threads interlace to create a fabric that is simultaneously open and stable. That structure is what gives this jacket its character and unrivaled breathability. Our mill in Okayama has refined this construction for generations, producing a cloth with exceptional yarn consistency and a finish that holds up while softening and deepening with every wear. Details are where they matter: deep patch pockets sized for a notebook, double-needle stitching throughout, bartacks at every stress point, Corozo buttons built to last, and a collar that stands against wind and weather when you need it.
