## Summary

Yellow powder-coated steel strongbox with an aluminum data plate, designed for secure storage of tools, hardware, and small collectibles.

## Description

Supplies, hardware, and gear. Notions and devices. Tools, trinkets, and tackle. Amulets and accoutrements. Collections and contraband. For over a decade, Best Made strongboxes have been a safe place for many objects and peace of mind for so many of our customers. Now we've made a great strongbox even better. We've moved production to a new manufacturer, a small Connecticut-based shop whose precision and craftsmanship raises the standard we have stood behind for so long. Tighter welds, cleaner seams, a truer fit. Made in the USA to our exacting standards, our strongboxes are more durable than most boxes of their kind. Made from robust American cold-rolled 22-gauge steel (a material that has only grown more costly, and one we refuse to compromise on), spot-welded and emblazoned with an aluminum data plate, secured with a heavy-duty snap latch, and powder-coated for the most durable finish.

- **product details:** A note on Powder Coating: Powder coating is a dry finishing coloring process that utilizes finely ground particles of pigment and resin. These particles are electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the surface of our strongboxes and then coated. Unlike paint, powder coating does not require a solvent to suspend the pigment and resin particles. Powder coating has low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, a result of its solvent-free composition. And unlike paint, virtually 100% of the powder particles that are oversprayed in the application process are recycled. Durability is also a key benefit to powder coating, as it yields a harder, more wear-resistant finish than conventional liquid paints. Additionally, powder coating offers great coverage, particularly on edges and corners, spots that are often challenging for liquid coatings.
