This design sees the hybridisation of our Kimchi band and our Natures Smile Signet. The two styles fuse together to create a textured signet shaped ring, where fermentation bubbles playfully emerge across the design, including around the gemstone, visualising an aspect of the cushion-cut gemstone not usually seen within jewellery design. This cushion-cut lab-created sapphire features a bespoke faceting arrangement with extra facets added to its underside allowing for a more complex and sophisticated reflection and composition of light through the gemstone. Our AW26 collection, Hybrid, explores and extends the concept of hybridisation within the plant world, translating a process which sits at the intersection of science and art into jewellery. Silhouettes, archetypes and ideas from across the Bleue Burnham universe are fused and cross-pollinated, giving life to jewellery that bring familiar elements together in new ways. The piece is handmade in London by highly skilled jewellers using solid sterling silver (925), which is certified with full British hallmarking laser engraved on the inside of the ring. As with all Bleue Burnham jewellery, this piece comes with our seasonal embroidered pouches, our seasonal booklet and a Bleue Burnham box.
