This shirt is made from a bedspread woven using a matelassé technique, in which thick, puffed yarn is used to create a raised, quilted technique. Matelassé coverlets (which take their name from the French word “matlasser,” meaning “to quilt”) were originally meant to imitate the luxurious whitework quilting done in Marseilles, France. Hand-mending throughout. For more information, visit our Returns and FAQ page or email orders@bode.com Made in New York; Dry clean only.
