This jacket is inspired by a late 19th-century quilt. The "White House Steps" quilt block is a variation of the Log Cabin block, one of the oldest quilt designs found on both sides of the Atlantic. With a floral calico fabric backing, the jacket is made to be fully reversible. All wear, mending, and idiosyncrasies are unique to the original textile.
