This means it's a solid, durable material chosen for its strength and suitability for most sensitive ears. There is no coating that will chip or wear away.  The Bead: The signature logo bead is crafted from a brass core, then sealed with a durable 0.25-micron layer of gold plating to give it a brilliant and lasting shine that matches our bangles.
