A rare collaboration, fully realized. This 1980s Bvlgari necklace — designed by Georges Lenfant — centers on a substantial almandine garnet of 8.15 carats, round-cut and deeply saturated, set within a fluted white enamel fan-shaped pendant. Flanking the central stone, four pink tourmaline cabochons anchor the upper register, separated from the pendant by a horizontal bar of round brilliant diamonds. The herringbone chain is woven 18kt yellow gold throughout. Lenfant's architectural sensibility is unmistakable here — the interplay of white enamel against warm gold, the structured geometry of the pendant, the considered hierarchy of stones.
