Italian husband-and-wife team Afra and Tobia Scarpa created the Soriana Sofa in 1969, and its distinctive silhouette shaped design history. Their ingenious use of polyurethane foam created a padded, pillowy, cloud-like cushion anchored firmly to the ground by a sculptural steel brace. There’s a freedom in Soriana’s shape – generous contours invite uninhibited relaxation. Choose from two or three seats in fabrics and finishes that complement the sofa’s free-flowing form. The Scarpas’ iconic design continues to revolutionize. Its internal padding is made from biodegradable BioFoam and 100% PET-blown fiber from Plastic Bank, an eco-social initiative that aims to stop plastic pollution. Made in Italy.
