Luar — "moonlight" in Portuguese. The light that moves the tides and silvers the surface of the sea. These earrings hold a little of that glow. A luminous pearl sways at each ear — born in the dark of the oyster, soft and round as a drop of light. At its crown the metal is worked by hand into a molten, asymmetric cap that spills and flows over the pearl like water finding its own shape. It falls from a hoop of hand-formed metal, organic and tide-worn, catching the light with every turn of the head — each pearl its own small moon swinging close to the face. It is the moon that pulls the tide, and the moon the pearl has always echoed: quiet, luminous, full of soft power. Handmade to order, each pearl natural and organic in form — so every pair will vary ever so slightly, yours alone, special and unique to you.
