## Summary

Handcrafted petite necklace featuring a natural staurolite cross pendant on a rhodium-plated sterling silver snake chain.

## Description

Handcrafted in recycled sterling silver, this petite, one-of-a-kind necklace holds a small natural staurolite cross pendant on a delicate 1mm silver chain. Staura takes its name from Stauros, the Greek word for "cross"—a cooler, silver echo of the same rare, naturally formed cruciform stone, scaled down to be worn close and often. Its a simple magic, of silver and stone. Solid 18" rhodium plated sterling silver snake chain; Small natural staurolite cross set in sterling silver; Ethically handcrafted in the USA; One of a kind & ships from our studio within 5 working days. Stone Medicine || Protection, grounding, calm Known as the "Fairy Cross," staurolite forms naturally into the shape of a cross—a rare twin of its crystal structure said, in folklore, to be the tears of fairies. For centuries it has been carried as a talisman of protection, worn to ward off illness, misfortune, and ill will. Staurolite is also known as a grounding stone, believed to ease stress and anxiety while quietly connecting the wearer to the natural world.
