## Summary

Handcrafted 14k gold snake chain necklace featuring a natural staurolite cross pendant.

## Description

Handcrafted in solid 10k gold, this one-of-a-kind necklace holds a natural staurolite cross pendant on a 1.5mm 14k gold snake chain. Its name, Stauros, comes from the Greek word for "cross," the same root that gives staurolite its own name—a nod to the mineral's rare, naturally occurring cruciform crystal structure. Long known as the "Fairy Cross," staurolite has been carried for centuries as a talisman of protection, said to be formed from the tears of fairies. A cross formed by the earth, blessed by the fairies. Solid 14k gold 1.5mm snake chain; Natural staurolite cross set in 10k recycled gold; Chain length: 18"; Ethically handcrafted in the USA; One of a kind & ships from our studio within 5 working days. Stone Medicine || Protection, grounding, calm Known as the "Fairy Cross," staurolite forms naturally into the shape of a cross—a rare twin of its crystal structure said, in folklore, to be the tears of fairies. For centuries it has been carried as a talisman of protection, worn to ward off illness, misfortune, and ill will. Staurolite is also known as a grounding stone, believed to ease stress and anxiety while quietly connecting the wearer to the natural world.
