Phenomenal vintage Comme des Garcons Tricot dress from Fall/Winter 1989, designed by Junya Watanabe, who was head of the Tricot line from 1987-1992. See a reference/similar piece shown here on the runway.  Medium-weight charcoal grey wool. Draping, billowy apron-style upper/bodice that can be styled in a variety of ways. Off-set collar drapes over the shoulder at backside. Fixed waist with zip closure at side. Matching adjustable belt with silver tone hardware. Slimmed a-line skirt bottom. Pocket at right hip. Unlined. Label dated 1989.
