## Description

Salcombe 2 is a light-weight leather lined version of Salcombe, our best-selling plain-front loafer featuring a raised seam apron. Epitomising simplicity and ease of wear through its wholecut design and inset-cut apron with box-stitch detailing. Available in Pistachio Suede, Desert Suede and Snuff Suede, the perfect summer hues to complement our latest gum coloured rubber wedge sole. The word wedge refers to the slope between the forepart, waist and heel. Designed and made in England, we have produced a unique sole to our own unique specification that perfectly blends comfort, flexibility, durability and grip. Exclusive to Crockett & Jones, and available in Dark Brown and Gum colour options, we have further increased its flexibility and impact absorbency with our new rubber compound. This colourway of repello suede is tanned to be water repellent. Fully treated with ‘Scotch guard’ during the tanning process, the material achieves an exceptionally high level of water resistance to water and oil based substances. This proofing remains effective throughout the life of the footwear although we do recommend you continue with general suede shoe care.
