The third addition to Poul Cadovius’ wall-hung furniture collection, System Cado (1960) is considered one of his most successful designs. Its revolutionary free-hanging cabinets—made individually, either with drawers or cupboards with handleless doors or sliding doors in wood or glass—are mounted on the wall without any visible suspension rails. The cabinet comes in a version with a drop front that can double as a cellaret or writing desk. The cabinets can be configured in a number of ways, mounted separately or as a sideboard with cabinets and drawers. Made in Czech Republic.
