The inspiration for this boot came from a pair of Dale Evan's shoes we saw at auction.  The catalog listing read, "The consummate Dale Evans/Cowgirl/Bohlin unique personal artifact. These size 5 1/2 hand floral-tooled black high heels were custom made for Dale by Evans of California and have 3 3/4" high Edward H Bohlin, Hollywood, engraved sterling silver heel caps. c 1940s-50s".
