A WONDERFUL LITTLE VINTAGE FIND Sometimes we come across the coolest pieces, and this necklace, crafted by Teresa Waseta, is one of them. The sterling silver chainlink necklace features a row of Zuni corn maidens crafted from inlaid turquoise, mother of pearl, onyx, and coral set in a silver bezel. A wonderful little vintage find. Theresa Waseta (Zuni). Active since 1960s. Mosaic inlay. Marks : Waseta (etched script); Theresa Waseta (etched script). Theresa Waseta was a listed Zuni artist since 1965 and was well known for her Zuni Maiden creations. Her pieces portray a demure little maiden with downcast eyes and her hands behind her back.
