inspired by a pair of vintage trouser shorts, we've created an update to our ever popular penny short. this is a longer stylized short with the length falling just a few inches above the knee. there are two inverted pleats on each front side which create a flattening effect that extends below the waistband, yet lends to added room through the upper hip and pockets. the legs of this short are a straight fit and do not taper. these shorts were specifically designed in a lightweight linen to hang close to the body, yet still loose with plenty of room for comfort and movement. notice the extra large rivershell button at the center front waist - this added touch lends to pairing these babies with the nadine top for a stylish short suit look, straight out of the 90s (yet modernized, of course). 100% linen. these shorts have been pre-washed and pre-shrunk for added softness and a true fit. we recommend washing on cold, tumble dry or lay flat to dry. also available in bone and sage. designed in austin. made in the usa. click "ask us a question" above. we're ready to help.
