## Summary

Hand-painted ceramic medium soup tureen shaped like a pumpkin, featuring a whimsical trompe l'oeil design with a matching lid and stem handle.

## Description

Este Ceramiche’s whimsical trompe-l’oeil creations trace their origins to archival designs rediscovered in the 1950s by the grandfather of current owner Giovanni Fadigati. In this Italian atelier’s world, tables brim with both wit and craftsmanship—where lemon slices glisten, chocolate truffles tempt, and garden vegetables delight the eye, though all are but ceramic illusions. Now, the house extends its repertoire of visual trickery with a playful provocation: real pumpkin or hand-painted soup tureen?
