When Flint and Tinder Design Director Nick Kemp set out to create the Vintage Sateen Capsule, he didn't start with a mood board. He went straight to archival 1940s U.S. Army uniforms. What came next was a three-piece collection of fatigue shirts, pants, and shorts made from reverse sateen cotton—the same fabric the U.S. Army adopted over herringbone twill when soldiers needed something more durable and comfortable.
