## Summary

Hand-painted cylindrical wastepaper bin featuring a detailed sketch of a cat with books, finished with a gold-tone rim.

## Description

Many of Fornasetti’s collections are uncovered from two small handwritten notebooks of unpublished drawings that once belonged to the founder, Piero. The Gatto con Libri waste paper basket is one such example, inspired by nature and faraway travels. Its realism is attributed to the meticulous craft tale, as it’s painted, silk-screened and lacquered entirely by hand.
