This double-breasted jacket is the new edition of a style from the SS1990 Collection, a reinterpretation that is part of a four-piece outfit: jacket, shirt, waistcoat and trousers. Shot by Aldo Fallai in that year's Spring/Summer campaign and later included in the 2000–2001 Guggenheim exhibition, confirmation of its iconic and cultural value within the brand's creative journey. The design reflects one of Giorgio Armani's fundamental principles: deconstruction, i.e. the lightening of the traditionally tailored structure to make room for a more natural, fluid fit that is closer to the body.
