Our third collaboration with Alpine Motorsports, the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Ceramic combines an anthracite-grey ceramic case with Alpine-blue bridges and main plate. Inside, the fully skeletonised HMC 814 calibre leaves nothing to the imagination, revealing its openworked barrel and one-minute flying double hairspring tourbillon at 6 o’clock. Lightweight, highly scratch-resistant and built to stay exactly as it is. Limited to 100 pieces, this watch exemplifies performance laid bare. In ceramic. Skeleton The fully skeletonised HMC 814 calibre is enhanced even further by its three-dimensionality. The skeletonised oscillating weight and the blue main plate and bridges with ALD finish offer an alluring contrast. Tourbillon Conceived to counteract the effects of gravity on the watch’s timekeeping precision, the tourbillon is a device in which the regulating organ and escapement are placed, which constantly rotates around a central axis to eliminate any positional errors. Movement The fully skeletonised HMC 814 is an automatic, three-dimensional calibre designed to have exceptionally open bridges to allow more light to traverse the entire watch and highlight the in-house one-minute flying tourbillon with a patented double hairspring.
