“Certain products are born in the future,” Italian designer Mario Bellini once said. This belief helped shape his pioneering approach to design. In 1966, he introduced the Amanta Chair: a modular system that broke from the rigidity of traditional seating with its low-slung frame and expansive, sculptural shell. Now reissued by HAY, its lively spirit – bold, fluid, and unmistakably Bellini – remains intact, with updated colors and a shell made from 99% post-consumer recycled ABS. Made in Poland.
