When legendary designers Lella and Massimo Vignelli couldn’t find multipurpose furniture for their Italian home, they decided to create their own. Playful, sculptural, and versatile, the Vignelli Cube (2005) is at home in any setting – indoors and out. A perfect cube with a center slice removed to form its legs, it can sit upright or sideways. The low-maintenance, movable 15-pound table is hollow inside and can be weighted down with sand for extra wind resistance outdoors. Crafted using Worry Free Plastics technology, it’s engineered to biodegrade into nutrient-rich soil within three to five years in a landfill environment, without releasing microplastics and without compromising durability or performance over its lifetime.
