The creation of this bag was originally a collaboration and an inspiration between the French Hermes and the British actress Jane Birkin. This stunning handbag is featured here in luxurious black crocodile including the padlock and a "clochette" or bell to store the keys.  Gold plated hardware is found at the straps, lock and feet.  The top flap opens to an interior of chevre goatskin leather with zipper and patch pockets. This bag is in equal measure classically traditional and forwardly chic.
