Ceramicist Jonathan Wade—founder of Ingot Objects—often works with high-textured clays that lend a beautiful tactility to his stoneware. His only-at-ABASK pieces are wheel-thrown, ash-glazed and intended to celebrate daily rituals. These cups have been dipped in a slip made from clay dug near Wade’s Glasgow home. This iron-rich slip bleeds through the glaze to create a striking mottled surface, and as such, no two are ever the same.
