Junya Watanabe Fall 2002 Black Wool Tweed Blazer M  Size: M Shoulder: 16” Armpit to armpit: 18” Length: 26” Sleeves: 23” Measurements are measured on one side with garments laid flat unstretched (Waists and Hips are doubled) and are provided as a courtesy only- not a guarantee of fit. Mannequin is 33”, 24”,36” for reference  Notes: From Fall 2002 Junya Watanabe collection, the prodigy of Rei Kawakubo, one of his most critically acclaimed collection Continuing the themes of Spring 2002, where themes of deconstruction and reconstruction are now experimented in gothic tones The collection featured various reconstructed pieces made of numerous fabrics, including velvet and wool, on crop jackets and slip dresses. This particular jacket seems indicative of his fall 2003 collection where Watanabe fully explores his vision of “Chanel”, toying with Maison codes like destroyed tweed jackets. This jacket adapts with Junya’s more forward-thinking tailoring, giant notch lapels and simple darts around the bust.  Most importantly the fabric is a traditional tweed weave with wool, interwoven in with polyester strips similar to that of glitter strips in Chanel’s tweed fabrics, but the uses a dull strips seem to indicate a rebel to the more glamourised version of Chanel while still adhering to its inspiration which stays quite true to Junya’s punk character Two button closure, real cuffs and real pockets Made in Japan  Composition: 100% Wool Lining: 100% Cupro  Condition: 4/5 (Mint condition, little to no signs of use)  Defects: N/A We have to the best of our ability showcase all the defects, please inspect carefully before you purchase   Price(including shipping): $250
