Thank you to the Rijksmuseum of the Netherlands for allowing us to transform artwork by notable Flemish tapestry designer Alexander Baert into a modern heirloom. The English translation of his original work is titled “A forest and river view with birds, a fountain and monument” c. 1700 - 1730. Baert is recognized for his intricate tapestries that often depicted idealized landscapes filled with figures and animals.
