Item #: 43782 This is an authentic LOUIS VUITTON Vintage Monogram Cartouchiere 17.  It is a discontinued piece from the early '90's, and there were three sizes made of this style.  This is the smallest (17 centimeters or 7" wide).  It is made of traditional monogram toile canvas with cross grain leather lining.  It has one compartment inside and an adjustable shoulder strap with shoulder pad.  PLEASE NOTE: the strap is original LV, but it is not the same type of vachetta leather strap you're used to seeing on LV's.  This one is a single-sided leather so it has a more rough side on the back.  It also does not have the same kind of rivets that most other LV straps have.  This is simply the way the Cartouchiere was made.  This should have definite appeal to all you Louis Vuitton collectors.
