Louis Vuitton uses specially treated leathers for a dramatic effect, for the shiny dark brown handles and the strap that crosses over and under the bag, each with two different tonal layers of leather beneath for a very elegant look.  The hardware is brass including handle rings, feet, a wide top closure and frontal push closure.  The interior is a gray microfiber with a zipper pocket.
