Somewhere between a Murano fever dream and a specimen jar, the Dotfish Decanter turns the ritual of pouring wine into something closer to tending an aquarium. Massimo Lunardon, working out of the Veneto's glassblowing lineage, gives the vessel a bulbous, finned body dotted in olive, sage, and charcoal with a single spot of red at the throat, and pale sage-green fins that lend it the deadpan gaze of a Wunderkammer curiosity. The elongated neck and clear rim nod to more traditional decanter forms, a moment of composure before the whole thing tips into whimsy.
