Somewhere between a Murano fever dream and a specimen jar, this decanter turns the ritual of pouring wine into something closer to tending an aquarium. Massimo Lunardon, working out of the Veneto's glassblowing lineage, gives the vessel a bulbous, finned body dotted in cobalt blue with touches of gold and coral red, and a single dark eye that lends it the deadpan gaze of a Wunderkammer curiosity. The elongated neck and cobalt-rimmed lip nod to more traditional decanter forms, a moment of composure before the whole thing tips into whimsy.
