The Matsuda - M2047 is a classic square style with a keyhole bridge, crafted of hand-finished Japanese acetate. The cotton-derived acetate is aged for stability before shaping, giving the frame its depth of color and lasting structure. Detailed engraving adorns each hinge, complementing the refined details of the frame front—metalwork concentrated where craft meets function. A traditional silhouette executed with the material discipline and ornamental precision that have defined Matsuda for decades, expressed with subdued confidence. Handmade in Japan. Includes Matsuda box, case, and cleaning cloth.
