## Description

Made in Japan.Developed in collaboration with French alpinist Benjamin Védrines, who holds the record as the fastest person to summit an 8,000-meter peak, known as an eight-thousander. This version of the Yusuke Alpine Blade Ti features a custom lens with edge ventilation to support airflow at high altitudes, designed for the first-ever ascent of Jannu East in October 2025. The frame is a six-base, blade-style proprietary sunglass system composed entirely of lightweight, durable, aerospace-grade titanium. The lens shaping draws inspiration from early alpine and explorer eyewear, where the lens acted as a protective shield for the eyes and face. The lens interiors are treated with both anti-reflective and oleophobic coatings for holistic eye protection and water and oil repellency. D+ Onyx Mirror was developed for physical pursuits requiring maximum sun protection. The mirror coating facilitates additional infrared screening. The lens offers 100% UVA/B protection while transmitting 16.19% of visible light and 15.99% of blue light.Limited production run of 30 units.*The temple tips on our titanium frames are fixed and do not rotate. For a precise fit, adjustments can be made by a licensed optician.
