We have a huge weakness for Jungle Cloth, also known as Bedford cloth. It's woven so tightly that the cords can only be seen up close. This creates a super warm fabric that is so utilitarian, it was picked up in the 20th century for military garments. You'll see it used throughout our inventory in N1 deck jackets. What we like so much about this piece is that it's built for 3 seasons instead of just one. This will carry you from early fall to late spring due to its unlined nature. You can essentially choose whatever lining you like for this baby. We were so impressed when we saw the designer wearing this last season, after just a few months of wear he had made the piece his.
