Tuesday Tribute: After the original starter was scratched from his opening day start less than 24 hours before game time, Fernando was named the opening day starter and the never looked back. He pitched a complete game shutout and started the season with 8 straight complete game wins, including 5 shutouts. Fernandomania was here and Dodger Stadium was transformed every time he took the mound. He became the first (and only) player to ever win the Rookie of the Year and Cy Young in the same season. This hat is inspired by the Dodgers 1981 home jersey with the Los Angeles Bicentennial patch and has a Mexican flag inspired batterman to represent Fernando.
